Try it Tuesday - A Pretty Petals Thank You

28 July 2015

So today's project is a customer thank you card I sent out recently with a few little treats included.

I love the Pretty Petals DSP.  It's so versatile and such great value for money.  Great on cards, but also great as they are 6x6 size meaning great for Big Shot dies and 3D projects too!

I made a co-ordinating envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and the In Colours Envelope paper and then die cut the little butterfly with the new Bold Butterflies Big Shot framelits.

A simple, quick and easy card that can be done in any colour or any DSP.

A hint of sparkle with Watercolour Wings

27 July 2015

I made this 5x5 card for the lovely Naomi to thank her for booking a hostess workshop with me recently.  It is a template for a card that you could quite easily replicate in a number of colours and perhaps give to someone as a gift with matching envelopes.

I decided to go full on with some of the new in-colours.  I asked my little boy, George which one he'd like me to start with.  It came as no surprise that he chose Cucumber Crush since he loves Cucumber or 'Cumber' as he's always called it!

I guess the Watercolour Wings stamp set might seem a little scary being a triple stamping technique.  However, if I can do it with my shaky hands then anyone can give it a go!

I finished it off with a dazzling diamonds butterfly die cut just for a hint of sparkle.

Kind of cute and very colourful!
